Healthcare Tech Startups Sought for Accelerator Program

Attention health care technology entrepreneurs: A new program in Nashville wants to hear your ideas, and it just might help you get your business going. Healthbox, a Chicago-based health care business accelerator, has joined with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee to offer a four-month program for startup health technology companies at the new Nashville Entrepreneur Center.

The program, which is expected to begin in early September, will provide up to 10 selected startups seed capital of $50,000 each, along with intensive mentoring to help them develop business plans and attract more financing to bring their products or services to market.
